The joint dissemination efforts & activities secured the first significant FID – First Industrial Deployment for the Modular C concept production.
Low Carbon Footprint materials (AlSi10MgMn0,3Fe) and manufacturing technologies (HPDC + FSW conformal cooling) have been selected for an E-Railway battery housing application.
Endurance installed the Friction Stir Welding unit @ Chivasso machining plant and is now EN15085 & UNI EN ISO 25239 certified.
